lufthansa

On friday I saw lufthuansa plane flying to bangkok it was humongous. It is a boeing 747s. It was taking german's back home to germany because of covid-19. When it took of it flew over belfast school and turned and headed back across the city. It is not often that you saw a 747s flying over christchurch. It is scheduled to take off between 9:30 and 10:30am on both saturday and sunday. From Toby

 

Week 2 of Isolation

 Secound week of isolation. I have been keeping up with my fitness training. I had a zoom meeting on tuesday 7th of april with my coach, I also made some chocolate chips cookies with my sister. I have been enjoying my football book that i am reading, I have learnt lots of facts about football players. Each day i have been walking around the park 3-4 times.  From Toby

Week 1 of Isolation

On Tuesday I learnt how to have a Zoom meeting with the Head of Coachimg for my Football Club. All my team mates were on the call, he checked if we were all doing our fitness plans. What I have been doing for my fitness is a Tempo run, then ball work and  Fartek run for 30 minutes. I have been reading my new book Football Encyclopedia. On Sunday I made pan-cakes for my family, they were awesome and delicious. Toby

Swimming Sports

On Thursday the 5th of March it was Swimming Sports. It was for year 5 to 8 students you had to pick 2 to 3 events. The events were freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. I did freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke. I came 1st for my freestyle heat then 2nd for the final after that I had backstroke it was a straight final and I came 3rd place. The last race was my race I did breaststroke and it was a final I came 1st. Finally it was the house relay I was in green house we came last but 1st just at the after end and that was the end of Swimming Sports.

Soccer

On Sunday I had a game of football and we were playing against Tasman United. I was in the starting lineup. we lost 3-0 but we played really well, after the game we had a sausage sizzle with Tasman United when we were having our sausages we watched another game it was so good. Ahttps://www.pikrepo.com/fifno/white-orange-and-green-soccer-ball-on-green-grass-field after that we went home to go to the Cashmere tech first team they were playing against nomads they won 4-1 it was a great game then I stayed a little bit then left that was my Sunday. 

Holiday letter

Kia ora Senior teacher's. I'm Toby and I love football and I support Manchester United. I play for Cashmere Tech. They are the 4th best team in New Zealand. When I play football my positions is CB. I like to be outside whenever. I have been at Belfast school since year 1. As you know I love sport. I have one sibling her name is Lucy she goes to Belfast school. She love's dancing. My dad works at Westpac he is the manger. My mum works at BP they are very supportive of what my sister and I do. I think 2020 will be a good year for me. Toby out.

This is my art for 2020. In the picture there is the premier league logo, Adidas logo, cashmere tech logo, and Manchester United logo. The boots are Copa 20.3 est. There are a lot of logos so if you don't what some of them are most of them are football related. I'm a big football fan that is why there is a lot of football stuff.
