ANZAC day

On Saturday 25th of April it was ANZAC day. My family and I went on are driveway at 6:00am. We stood out on the driveway because we could not go to the memorial servise cause of Covid/19. When we were standing we saw five other familys outside. I heard the bugle playing the last post in the distance. After the dawn servise I went back to bed and went to sleep.

  1. Hi Toby,
It's great that you and your family got up early to remember Anzac day. Do you usually go to a dawn service? I'm sure it felt really special to be out there in the dark, with other people nearby and the bugle playing the last post. Did you do anything else about Anzac day? Like a school activity or bake Anzac biscuits?

  2. Kia ora Toby,

It is great to hear you went and stood at the end of your driveway with your whanau. Luckily it wasn't raining!
How special you could hear the bugle playing in the distance.
Next time it would be great if you included a picture, this would make your post visually appealing.

Well done Toby! I have given you a Digital AWHI. Keep up the great work!

    :)
